Power, almost for free!

Photo shows a PMA being mounted on an old 8 HP Diesel engine running on FREE used deep fryer oil donated from a local fast food outlet. This power unit can produce up wards of 65 amps.
 
We charge four Trojan 105 batteries and then float the excess voltage into a Trace 4024 grid tie inverter.
Watching the power meter spin backwards this fast is much more fun than even wind or solar power!!!!!
 

We have ran this engine as long as 12 hours on one gallon of free oil producing 8.5 KWH of juice plus 500 gallons of free hot water in our radiator tank which we used in our automatic dish washer, cloths washing machine and for piping hot showers and baths.
