Amazing photo of a Bio-pass filter separating Water,
Glycerin soaps and fatty acids from used vegetable oil.
Just remember the BEADS help the filter GREATLY.
The filter is amazing BUT without the beads to help the filter you will
be changing the filter once an hour instead of once a month.
THE BEADS AND THE FILTER ARE TO BE USED TOGETHER!!!
THE PHOTOS ON THIS PAGE ARE JUST FOR DEMONSTRATION PROPOSES.
You would think by looking at this photo that there would also be a line
of water/glycerin soaps and fatty acids inside the filter BUT 50% of it is on the outside ONLY!!!!!
The inside of the filter is passing cleaned fuel to this 10 HP diesel engine that
has been running for over 4000 hours non-stop. The beads in the drum recover most of the remaining contaminants.
We are running it on a mixture of 95% FREE used cooking oil courtesy of
our local Chinese restaurant and 5% red dyed Diesel.
6 cents per gallon is a great fuel price!!! (2001)
The 55 gallon fuel tank actually has 30 pounds of Acusorb® beads inside it so we can fuel it on the fly.
We have the beads in the tank so it goes from beads to filter in this case (Not the best idea but it works)
The 5% Diesel thins the oil keeping from freezing at night AND it kills the bacteria that can infect natural oils.
See the amazing 'Bio-Pass'
wicking filter in action!
Water based glycerin, soaps and fatty acids can not make it past our
1/2 micron "Wicking Filter". Only oils can pass through it!
You can clearly see the water line and then the light Glycerin / soapy fatty acid line above it.
An amazing photo proving how unique our process is!!!!!

The filter features an ingenious design that ONLY allows oils to pass through it!
Look carefully and you can see the separation lines of the water and
soapy acid glycerin products that are on the OUTSIDE of the filter Only.
It is important to note that this white colored fatty acid/soapy glycerin line
is not a liquid so it can't simply be drained away. This is a thick substance
that needs to be physically scraped off of the filter when the line gets about half away up to
the top of the filter housing. About every 5000 gallons (or as needed) the filter should be placed in a
washing machine and washed in hot water on the spin dry cycle on.
Use about 4 cups of detergent and no bleach! Very simple and easy to maintain!
Place the filter in a "dedicates washing bag"
(Do not wash any cloths when you are cleaning your filters! Use Delicate / Hot water washing cycle if possible!)
Lasts forever IF you are careful with it.
