Bio Diesel Legal Definition

Bio-Diesel is a newly re-born chemistry and the Supreme Court and not even the
World Court has yet ruled on what 'Bio-Diesel' is OR HOW to officially make 'Bio-Diesel' !!
In fact the ONLY court ruling in the entire Federal code on 'B100" is concerning the
amount of 'apolipoprotein' in the blood.

B100 means containing 'no crude oil', That's all,,, that's it!!! How you clean it up is totally up
to YOU alone. B100 is NOW produced commercially without the use of any alcohol in the "Acid first, Alkaline second" methodology so that product can no longer be said to carry a "short linear alcohol"
yet it is still recognized as "Bio-Diesel" by the all powerful "Option Makers", so who are they?

The Big Corporations and their Big Government partners would love you to believe
Bio-Diesel revolves only around the Alkaline/Alcohol process for obvious reasons.

HISTORY: On August 31, 1937, G. Chavanne of the University of Brussels (Belgium) was granted a patent for a 'Procedure for the transformation of vegetable oils for their uses as fuels'. Belgian Patent 422,877. This patent described the alcoholysis (often referred to as transesterification) of vegetable oils using ethanol (and mentions methanol) in order to separate the fatty acids from the glycerol by replacing the glycerol with short linear alcohols. This appears to be the first account EVER of any ANY official production of what is today has become known as "traditional bio-diesel" - It is very important to note that in 1937 the word 'bio-diesel' was NEVER mentioned!! Not in the patent or in any newspaper articles or in any books of that time era pertaining to patient #422,887!! This was the FIRST official recorded methodology in history for the"refining a vegetable oil into a suitable petroleum replacement fuel" That's all and it is VERY important to note that the word "Bio-Diesel" was NEVER EVER mentioned ONCE as part of this historical patent or even this Alkaline/Alcohol procedure for very good reasons. Back in 1937 there was more oil flowing out of the ground than anyone really needed. Bacu Russia as well as all of the other well known oil SUPER-RESERVES of that era were literally flooded with oil. In 1937 the oil literally flowed out of the ground like black water! In fact it was so plentiful special dams had to be built in case the well heads blew! Make no mistake here, we are talking about lakes full of oil literally miles across! Back in 1937 Diesel fuel was almost considered a NUISANCE byproduct of the gasoline refining industry. Gasoline was the #1 fuel of choice in that era since gas engines were cheap to build, lightweight and had the best weight to HP ratio. They literary had to "GET RID OF" the excess Diesel in many cases by simply burning it away. Petroleum historians have recounted this fact numerous times putting the price of Diesel fuel in 1937 at well under one penny per gallon. Vegetable oil was a far more valuable commodity back then!!

Alkaline/Alcohol chemistry is not the "golden grail" it is cracked up to be, it just happens be to the first official technique for vegetable oil to fuel production. While its components are a highly taxable and regulate-able, that fact has nothing to do with renewable fuel production now does it???
Acid/Alkaline two step chemistry works great too and so does the activated carbon block soaked in sulfuric acid "blocking" method used by the Japanese. Now Acid/base two step process are gaining ground and they are ALL Bio-Diesel.
Is there some mystical "Bio-Diesel" Fairy that taps her magic wand and officially approves newer processes once enough people begin to use them?? The ever growing long list of alternate methods in Bio-Diesel manufacture will only get longer as people put their mental energies towards the goal of simplifying this process. All that really matters is if the engine will operate on the fuel and if it will run the engine in the LONG haul, efficiently, effectively and dependably.

So far the word 'Bio-Diesel' is up for grabs LEGALLY speaking. Luckily we still, for the
moment live in a free thinking country where people are always thinking, working and
improving methods and ideas to make more cost effective solutions to our energy problems.

There has NEVER been a government ruling by any court law on how to make 'Bio-Diesel'
Even the word 'Bio-Diesel' has no legal ownership or trademark or copyright and is a
public domain phrase. The word 'Bio-Diesel' is an absolute public domain phrase!

The salt process works very well too!!!

All truth passes through three stages:

   First, it is ridiculed;

Second, it is violently opposed; and

Third, it is accepted as self-evident.

-- Arthur Schopenhauer (1788-1860)

A small group of about 400 people in California USA have been using Salt Cracked Soy
oils for over 11 years now and have driven a total of over 36 million combined miles and their engines
LOVE this fuel!! Not one problem. We get only good reports. Higher MPG, longer engine life,
15% increased HP has been reported in many older engines with compression-ignition systems.
Of coarse here in sunny California we do not have to worry about cold weather 'Gelling'.

Salt process notes:
The only mistake people have made is being impatient thus they used cloudy fuel thus clogging
their fuel filters,, not a big deal but annoying. Just be patient and wait for your separations to
occur. If your fuel is 'Gem Clear' you've done it right! It is that simple and that just takes time : )

Cloudy Fuel = BAD
Gem Clear = GOOD
